So you know, ninja are fast. And my website isn’t. 

Just don’t argue with my logic :))

It feels like a perfect night to improve my website loading speed.

For some reason, I didn’t take a screenshot before the actual process of improving my website loading speed. 

But I decided to document it. 

I will use GTmetrix and PageSpeed Insights by Google. 

How I improved my website loading speed?

This is what I did to improve my website loading speed: 

• I moved the main theme styles to the footer and load minified CSS and JS libraries. 
• Move jQuery to Footer
• Remove Gutenberg Styles
• Enable Lazy Load 
• Create Cache 
• Reduce HTTPs requests
• Minify HTML & CSS & JS
• Reduce the number of SQL queries
• CloudFlare CDN 
• and a little secret  

Now the sweet part. Let’s see the results.

Sweet. A+ . Fully loaded 2.1 S, total page size 365kb.

This thing is faster than a Tesla.

Close enough. I am satisfied with those results giving the limitations of WordPress.

That’s it. A fast website like a ninja.

I had to do all sorts of jobs to pay my rent and my bad habits . One of them was freelancing.

Last month I found out that a guy is charging 5000 dollars to teach you how to be a freelancer .

So I had a quick internal rage and asked myself, “Has the game changed so much?” , “is it harder now”?

I cleaned my old Upwork account from dust and started to apply for freelancing jobs.

This is my experience and how you can do it too.

Easy tutorial on how to make money on UPWORK:

1. Step. Create an account. 

2. Make sure you make a nice description of your skills and yourself. Include portfolio/references etc.

3. Buy connections. Apparently, you need to buy connections to bid for jobs.

4. Bid. Here is where the magic happens.

I kid you not. You can have the most straightforward cover letter and still get jobs.

Here is my proposal:

And that’s it. You don’t have to send 3000 words cover letters with bs.

Let your work speak.

Out of 10 jobs, I applied. 2 of them respond, and 1 accepted me.

 So not only the dude was pleased with my work, he wants to give me more. 

Here is the payment.

So I worked a few hours to create a landing page with a drag and drop builder. I am telling you, anyone can do this. Easy peasy 200$. (minimum wage in Romania is around 300)

It’s not a quick get rich scheme, yeah, you need to put some work in it. But honestly, it feels like easy money.

We are living in the most carefree time ever to make money online.

I’ve heard about BTC in 2013-2014. I think the price was around 400$ – now it is 4200$ :O. Didn’t have money or willpower to invest in it.
I started investing in crypto in February, when ETH was still (42$ – I know crazy times), actually when I heard about it it was around 8-11$ – imagine if I had the guts back then. I remember at that time I was reading a book called “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” and it was around 23:00-00:00 when I said to myself “F$#$ it, it’s now or never”.
So I started with a small amount of money (exactly 300$), which got me a return of almost 1000%, that’s 3000$.

The hype was real and I knew I need to continue so I’ve started to re-invest all the money from ETH:
I bought NEO when the price was 7$ (now is 34$), that’s 4800% return, which to me seems crazy to be honest :O givin the
I bought TenX, they have a really nice project and the team seems great. (Read their whitepaper)
I have some Monetha shares from ICO(planning to sell short)
Let’s see what will happen next year with the entire market.

Here are some tips for future investors:
1) don’t play with more than you are ready to lose
2) leave emotions out of it
3) always assume big players are manipulating the market, making a huge profit, leaving average Joes in negative expected value.
4) make sure not to invest in scamcoins, shady ICO (initial coin offerings), or anything that has +300% daily growth but very low daily volume
5) triple check the security, enable 2FA, use strong passwords, don’t trust 3rd party sites more than you have to
6) do not fall for youtube trading gurus, who claim how easy it is to predict price movement. They all analyze what they did on the fully visible graph after it happened. My blind grandma can do that.
7) even if your strategy worked 5 times in a row, it doesn’t make it a good strategy. If strategy has +2% if you guess right, and -10% if not, 5 hits in a row still doesn’t mean a thing
8) make greed and fear your allies, not your enemies
9) if you are emotionally unstable, do buy&hold

I would also suggest holding your coins in a Ledger Hardware!

Heeeeey ! My name is Vladislav Vaduvescu, I was born in Republic of Moldova, raised in Romania and educated in Denmark. At the moment I’m 21 years old, but the story begins somewhere around 2006 when I received my first personal computer( back then it was very expensive, and I’m coming from a really modest family). I can say it was my first love. First I started to learn about hardware, I was repairing and replacing the parts of my friend’s computers for some extra cash :).

Later I went to high school and decided that I want to be a famous coder. After a strong introduction in C++, Math and Math and again Math…I stopped. I wanted something different, more freedom, a branch that would give me a dose of creativity every day. From here started my passion for design.
Since Romania doesn’t offer too many opportunities in this direction I decided to leave in Denmark for an education focused more on my needs. I studied 2 years of Multimedia Design and 1,5 Digital Concept Development.

On 29 February 2015  I founded OurDesignCenter, a community created by designers for designers. (sold the business in 2017)
Throughout the faculty I did freelancing, and in March I was able to hire part time as a Junior Graphic Designer at a web shop in Aarhus.
Currently, I am passionate about internet marketing, minimalist design, and pop art.I hope that one day I would have my own business.
