Recently, I started to create this kind of video for my digital agency.

I was trying to find that “doodle” “whiteboard” type of animation to create my videos. After hours of searching and testing a bunch of software, I found Videoscribe.

Here’s an example to understand what I am talking about:

This video has 4.8 million views. Yes 4.8 million, that’s more than 8.000$ for one video.

I am sure you already watch on YouTube this kind of videos.

Let’s begin with the method.

Make money online with explainer videos

Okay, for this method to work, we need two tools: Videoscribe and Youtube.

What is Videoscribe? Videoscribe is a whiteboard video software; you can create fabulous animated videos in no time without any editing skills.

And YouTube, well, I am pretty sure you know what YouTube is by now.

The method is really simple: we will create a script, we will record our voice, animate with Videoscribe, post to YouTube, and cash in $$$.

First step.

Create a script

Here is the preparation part and the most important one.

You want your content to be interesting. If the content is terrible, no one will watch your video. It doesn’t matter how good is your animation.

My recommendation is to write about what you already know. For example, if you are a baker, write about “different methods of baking” and so on.

Write about your expertise or what you are passionate about. You got the idea. It will make the process so much easier.

Don’t worry about what’s in trending and it doesn’t have to be in English, it can be in any language you know.

Usually, write at least 1000 words, which is the equivalent of 8 to 10 minutes of video content.

Recording your voice

Use a professional microphone. I use this one:

It’s just 99$ and it produces high-quality sound. If you can’t afford one your smartphone microphone is enough for now, you can upgrade once you produce some cash.

Don’t use passive voice and don’t be too formal. Try to have influxes in speech, if you keep the same tone it might sound boring so try to change the pace every 30 seconds.

Just be natural and it will sound good.

Animate with VideoScribe

Now we have our audio, it’s time to create the actual video.

Go to https://www.videoscribe.co/

Download the software and register an account.

Now to learn the software go to youtube. There are tons of tutorials, and the software is intuitive.

Upload the audio that you recorded to VideoScribe.

It took me around 30 minutes to understand the software and about 4 hours to animate 10 minutes.

PRO TIP: When you finish animating the video don’t render on local, save it on their server. You will receive a notification with the video when it is published. It will save you a lot of time.

Publish on Youtube

Now we have our video, it’s time to publish it on Youtube.

Before you upload it, install this extension called VidIQ.
