What is happening? Seriously. 😑 Whenever I turn on the news, social media, everywhere this story is there all the time.

You know what I am talking about: this coronavirus. I am not scared of Covid-19. What I am scared about is the loss of reason and a wave of fear that has induced the masses of society.

I’m scared those same epidemic fears will limit trade, harm partnerships in multiple sectors, business and otherwise and ultimately culminate in a financial crisis.

It made me think about how dependent my business is on the market situation. It made me think about how I should start creating multiple revenue streams.

Anyway, let’s update the 1 million journey 🙂

Revenue

February was our best month. Got $$$$ in the bank and signed a contract for 4100$. Even though February is the shortest month of the year, in terms of revenue it was our best month ever. (I don’t expect the same results next month though – since the situation is getting crazier each day)

I am continuing my strategy with Linkedin and Instagram. People seem to enjoy my content and engaging with it. I am getting likes, comments and from time to time messages. Still, no lead closed.

On Instagram, we have 435 followers and on Linkedin, I constantly hit 600-1000 views.

SEO

The website for the Romanian market is finally starting to rank. I only post original and valuable content. I write the articles myself. Since my time is quite limited I can write max 10.000 words per month.

I am not planning to start off-page SEO until I hit 100.000 words. Currently, I have 45,948 published words. My goal is to hit 100.000 words on 30 December 2020, probably I will complete before that.

To be honest, I am getting excited at the thought of ranking a website in the Romanian market, it brings some sweet memories. (back when I was 16 I ranked number one at the keyword “pictures” – which was a massive achievement at that time).


I don’t want to be mean or disrespectful, but 90% of the agencies in Romania that offer SEO services they don’t know shit. And their website isn’t ranking, but they promise others to rank their website in the first position. 😂😂😂😂

As for the digital agency for the USA market, I plan to outsource the content writing to a freelancer. (more on that next month)

Having said that, let’s move to my next decision.


Building a micro-niche and authority site

Why did I make the decision to create a micro-niche and an authority site?

First, I genuinely enjoy it. Seeing that dots get higher and higher each week makes me a bit wet 😳🤣. And of course, I am gonna keep a journal for both of the websites. Probably I am going to open a new category on the website called Study Case.
The plan is to connect the micro-niche with the agency and start collecting leads. As for the authority site, planing to chose a completely different niche. Still didn’t decide which one.

Hopefully, by the end of March I will have:

  • A niche for the authority site.
  • A 24 months plan for both websites.
  • Keyword research.
  • Content plan for the first 15.000 words for the micro-niche.
  • First article for the micro-niche.
  • Homepage for the micro niche site.

I am counting 24 months from April. If this case study succeeds, I am hoping to inspire others and show them how they can achieve the same results.
